SPRINGFIELD — A dry chemical fire suppression system malfunctioned at the Pride Station on Sunday afternoon, spraying white powder across the gas station parking lot and into the road.
The discharge took place at about 2 p.m. at the station on 1225 Parker St. The Fire Department responded as a precaution and an ambulance was sent but there were no injuries, Fire Department Capt. Drew Piemonte said.
